Andy Friedman

Andy Friedman has been touring the nation’s music, art, theater, literary and drinking venues as a “Slideshow Poet” for almost three years. After the publication of his first book, Drawings & Other Failures in 2001, Friedman left his post as a cartoonist at The New Yorker to tour full-time. Friedman’s second book, Future Blues, was published in 2003. The artist is currently working on two new books, The Realist Manifesto and Slideshow Poet Live.
