Susan Njeru was born and raised in Kenya. She did her undergraduate degree in Business Administration in Nairobi, and her Master’s degree in Urban Policy at the New School University in New York. She currently works in tax administration for the Government of Kenya.

Cleyvis Natera is an immigrant from the Dominican Republic. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Skidmore College and a Master of Fine Arts in Fiction

When & Where We Meet

You’ll find brilliant prose & poetry on tap in New York City at Von Bar at 3 Bleecker St. @ Bowery (take the 6 to Bleecker or the B, D, F, M to Broadway-Lafayette). Readings take place every third Sunday of the month. (Subject to change around the holidays.)
