D. Foy’s work has appeared in Salon, Bomb, Post Road, Electric Literature, The Literary Review, Frequencies, The Collagist, and The Georgia Review, among others, and has been included in the books Laundromat and Forty Stories: New Writing from Harper Perennial. Brian Gresko is the editor of the anthology When I First Held You: 22 Critically Acclaimed Writers Talk About the Triumphs, Challenges, and Transformative Experience of Fatherhood. His work has appeared in Poets & Writers Magazine, Glimmer Train Stories, and The Brooklyn Rail, and online at The Huffington Post, Salon, TheAtlantic.com, The Los Angeles Review of Books, and many other sites. He curates and co-hosts the Pen Parentis Literary Salon, which features writers who are parents reading and discussing their creative lives.
Eric Nelson is a prose writer living in Queens, New York. His stories,
essays, criticisms, and interviews have appeared or are forthcoming in
Tin House, The Rumpus, The Billfold, Bust, Fanzine, Keep This Bag Away
From Children, and Volume 1 Brooklyn, among others.
Emily Schultz is the author of the novel The Blondes, forthcoming from St. Martin’s Press. She is the co-founder of the literary magazine Joyland, and host of the podcast Truth & Fiction. Her work is forthcoming in Prairie Schooner and Byliner. She lives in Brooklyn.
Bob Smith was the first openly gay stand-up comic to appear on The Tonight Show and have his own HBO special. His first book of comic essays, Openly Bob, won the Lambda Literary Award. His first novel, Selfish and Perverse, was one of three nominees for the Edmund White Award for Debut Fiction. His most recent novel, Remembrance of Things I Forgot, was picked by Amazon as one of the Ten Best Gay and Lesbian Books of 2011, was short-listed for the Green Carnation Prize, won an Honor Award from the American Library Association, and was nominated for the Ferro-Grumley Award. He is also a contributor to the anthology When I First Held You: 22 Critically Acclaimed Writers Talk About the Triumphs.
