THE SETTING
Located off of the historic Bowery, Von Bar is a low-key, candle-lit, dark wood and brick favorite. Order your drinks at the bar (street level), then join us downstairs in the cozy basement with a dance floor aka Sunday Salon’s reading space. Look up and check out the ceiling made of wine corks.

THE Music
Sometimes we host fantastic musicians and singer/songwriters. Our resident DJ, DJ DUBSIX, represents Queens, NYC. He mixed cassette tapes as a child, and dropped needles to grooves as a teen. Now, he curates soundscapes that engage the mind, body, and soul. His musical selections tell stories and fill dance floors. Remember to wear your dancing shoes and be ready to embrace your inner rebel. When DUBSIX is juggling tunes, he creates a musical revolution using the 1s and 2s.
